Gastronomy
The cold cured meats are the pride of the region; the visitor can buy typical products going to the weekly markets of the towns of the area; bread, cakes, wine, oil, etc.
Some of these typical products are available in the shop of Montsonís; each product can be bought separately or a basket is specially prepared for the visitor so that he can buy all the best of the gastronomy of the Noguera.
And if the visitor wishes to enjoy the famous "cargols a la llauna", the area has many restaurants offering a high quality homemade cooking for an affordable price.
Among other "gastronomic" options available from La Torreta, we can recommend the Fair of the Turrón de Agramunt in October; the Fair of the Partridge in Vilanova de Meià in November; the Fair of the Melon and the pig slaughter in Artesa de Segre, or the Giant Cake of Samfaina in Balaguer.
